The Business Development Manager will seek and develop new business opportunities for the organization to drive growth and profitability. The role will support our various account managers and sales channels to identify opportunities, support sales, and marketing initiatives. The Business Development Manager will educate and inform customers of Roush services. This role will be a member of the Roush Entertainment Systems leadership team and key leader in our Orlando, Florida facilities.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and leading strategic initiatives designed to grow revenue and profitability
  • Qualifying producing quality leads
  • Analyzing national and regional sales and marketing data and supporting the development of measurement processes, tools and techniques
  • Working collaboratively with internal groups for business development
  • Working with development teams to develop and lead inbound and outbound campaigns from idea generation through qualified sales calls and visits
  • Maintaining and updating activity in various programs to ensure effective lead management
  • Educating and informing new and existing customers of the Roush service capabilities
  • Nurturing early-stage opportunities for future pipeline potential
  • Relaying key market feedback to help shape the company’s sales strategy
  • Working with Marketing and Sales teams to identify market opportunities for growth
  • Attending events and associated with the following examples: ASTM (F24), IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions), TEA (Themed Entertainment Association)

To be considered as a Business Development Manager, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business or Marketing 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the business-to-business sales environment
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, primarily domestically with some international travel
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to manage corporate relationships with multiple facets
  • Ability to coordinate services across multiple departments
  • Ability to manage customer experience and drive revenue

A successful candidate may also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • 5 years of experience working with the themed attractions/entertainment industry.
  • Understanding of global sourcing process related to both new attractions and sustainment of current attractions
  • Experience on ride systems and show systems (including Animatronics and Show Action Equipment)
