We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships and driving sales of projects within the primary market research (PMR) field in the Pharma/Life-Sciences industry. This role requires a deep understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including the design of syndicated studies. The Business Development Manager will build strong relationships with clients, identify challenges or opportunities, and find ways to assist with these challenges in cooperation with the IQVIA sales department, leveraging the full IQVIA offerings and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable for all aspects of the sales process from prospecting to qualification to closing to meet and exceed annual new sales revenue goals in the primary market research field.
  • Design qualitative and quantitative market research studies, including syndicated studies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Pharma/Life-Sciences sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in primary market research field to achieve sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Work closely with the IQVIA sales department to leverage the full range of IQVIA offerings.
  • Proactively work with global and regional account management in the pursuit of multi-country opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to inform business strategies.

Skills, Education and Experience Required:

  • Solid and extensive (min. 5 years) commercial experience in primary market research sales (account management and/or solution sales) with responsibility for managing complex deals with customers.
  • Experience in healthcare industry is highly desirable.
  • Current client networking relationships in pharma / life-sciences / healthcare are highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Sociology, or a related field. Master’s degree is highly desirable.
  • Fluent English and Polish (written and spoken) is required.
  • Strong commitment to achieve and exceed assigned goals.
  • Proven expertise in account planning and accurate sales forecasting.
  • Proven execution ability under tight deadlines and pressure.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • An attitude to working collaboratively and effectively with others in and across the team to accomplish goals.
