As a Business Development Manager – National Accounts on the Junk King team, a typical day for you will include:

  • Cultivate Partnerships: Forge and nurture high-value partnerships with national organizations.  
  • Drive Sales Growth: Focus on showcasing and selling Junk King's diverse junk removal services. Proactively identify and prospect national sales opportunities for Junk King's hauling and dumpster rental services.  
  • Enhance Franchise Performance: Strategically connecting these national accounts with local Franchise Business Owners to generate qualified leads. Collaborate with franchise owners to understand and address their specific needs related to national accounts. Serve as the primary liaison between national accounts and franchise owners, ensuring clear communication and alignment. Partner with the Marketing department to develop and implement strategic initiatives for new offerings and services. Continuously monitor internal and external trends to identify and recommend innovative strategies for sales growth.  
  • Develop Strategic Plans: Proactively identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities for the brand. Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.  
  • Ensure Client Satisfaction: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with national customers to ensure their ongoing success and satisfaction. Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction levels in accordance with company standards.

(Required qualifications)

  • Experience: Possess 2+ years of progressive experience in professional sales, with a focus on national account management required. Proven track record of success in National Key Account Manager or similar positions. Extensive experience in driving sales and fostering strong customer relationships.  
  • Skills:
    • Proven ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.   
    • Comprehensive understanding of sales performance metrics and their application.   
    • Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills.   
    • Proficiency in developing and delivering persuasive sales presentations tailored to diverse audiences.   
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, franchise owners (current and prospective), and vendors.   
    • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.   
    • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively.   
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).   
    • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adhere to deadlines.   
    • Willingness to travel as required.   
    • Possesses a proactive "hunter" approach to identifying and securing new opportunities.   
    • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred but not required.
  • Schedule / in-office requirements: Ability to work a hybrid (3days in office) in Irving, TX. Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel as required.
