Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager – Germany & Poland, you will play a key role in expanding Giftify’s presence in the German speaking & Polish markets. Reporting to the Team Lead Business Development, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, acquiring new clients, and driving revenue growth. You will develop strong relationships with shopping centers, local stakeholders , and key decision-makers, helping them unlock the full potential of Giftify’s solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities in Germany, Austria & Poland, targeting shopping malls,, and other potential partners.
- Sales Growth: Build a strong pipeline and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Consultative Selling: Understand client needs and present tailored solutions that maximize the value of Giftify’s offerings.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with legal, product, client success, and marketing teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation for new clients.
- Market Insights: Monitor trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and identify new growth opportunities.
- Travel: Attend client meetings and represent Giftify at industry events across Germany, Austria & Poland and occasionally in Europe.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in Tech, Payments, or a similar sector.
- Strong ability to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and pipeline management.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
- Strong communication skills in German, Polish (native or fluent) and English (professional level).
- You can be based anywhere within Germany or Poland.
- Willingness to travel within Germany, Austria, Poland and across Europe as needed.
