The Business Development Manager, Theatre and Performing Arts – EMEA will be responsible for generating new business by identifying and building new customer relationships, defining market segmentation and targets, and implementing the appropriate sales coverage model to support growth strategies.

This role will focus on growing sales and profitability by driving key objectives and leading our teams in sales methodology as it relates to the market vertical.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to accelerate sales growth and drive new business opportunities in collaboration with regional sales managers, certified providers, and end-user clients.

  • Own the sales forecast and growth targets for the Theatre and Performing Arts, EMEA working closely with regional sales teams and company management.

  • Define OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) for the Theme Parks and Cruise market, aligning with department and group-level objectives.

  • Lead the sales process from prospecting to strategy development, proposal, presentation, and deal closure for the Theme Parks and Cruise market.

  • Build and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline, fostering long-term strategic relationships with high-revenue and high-growth customers.

  • Evaluate profitability and explore alternative market approaches to improve financial performance and distribution models.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sales programs and processes through best practices, process optimization, and analytics.

  • Ensure consistency in field sales processes, including lead management and pipeline tracking.

  • Monitor competitive activities and market trends, providing strategic recommendations to stay ahead of the competition and gain market share.

  • Partner with Application & Marketing teams to successfully launch new products, services, and programs, ensuring alignment with market demands.

  • Act as a liaison between Marketing, Sales, Application & Finance teams to support the execution of new business development initiatives.

  • Conduct field visits and business reviews, reporting insights through market analysis and progress updates.

  • Represent the brand at tradeshows, industry associations, and thought leadership events dedicated to the Theme Parks and Cruise market.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business (preferred).

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in A/V equipment or high-tech systems sales, with a proven successful track record.

  • Experience in business development, including market expansion and strategic planning.

  • Strong relationships and network with key stakeholders in the Theme Parks and Cruise industry.

  • Experience in premium loudspeaker sales (preferred).

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and key opportunity management processes.

  • Self-motivated, energetic, and driven to achieve growth objectives.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
