TEAM

Our team, Digital Twin Platform, as one of the core Inventor Garage Solutions teams under the Woven City umbrella, is responsible for the realization of Woven City's vision: "Expand mobility. Enhance humanity. Engage society" by developing a robust software platform, on one hand to enable inventors and business owners to “test” their products in a virtual environment before deploying to the physical Woven City; on the other hand, to create analytics to assist in decision-making based on both simulated results and more importantly operational data collected from the physical city, such as residents daily life, traffic dynamics, energy consumption, etc.


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re seeking a dynamic, intellectually curious professional who’s excited to explore emerging technologies and translate them into real-world opportunities. This role calls for someone who’s equally comfortable diving deep into data and strategy as they are rallying teams around a big idea. You’ll help us identify new market frontiers, synthesize complex insights, and co-create next-generation solutions. If you’re an analytical thinker, an agile problem-solver, and a strategic innovator who’s eager to make a lasting impact, we want to hear from you.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead business success for target industry by growing revenue and increasing business opportunities
  • Identify new business opportunities, assess competitive landscapes, lead business development, and successfully drive contract agreements
  • Identify potential customers and partnership opportunities, build strong relationships, and drive strategically aligned engagement
  • Prepare documentation and materials that translate business objectives into actionable plans, proposals, and technical requirements
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives to validate and refine new technologies and business models
  • Monitor key performance indicators, track progress against milestones, and prepare reports recommending course corrections as necessary
  • Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and related sessions to gather stakeholder input, align priorities, and build consensus
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimized workflows

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent work experience 
  • Exceptional planning and execution skills, with the ability to structure projects, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and ensure high-quality deliverables within established timelines
  • Over 5 years experience in B2B sales, business development or partnership development in the IT industry
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office), as well as business intelligence, analytical, and project management tools
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to engineering, business analysis, and strategic planning
  • Native-level Japanese proficiency and business-level English communication skills

NICE TO HAVES

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), or a related field
  • Industry experience in Digital Twin, Manufacturing and/or Logistics
  • Experience in project management and software development life cycle methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
  • Experience in data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization tools and techniques
  • Strong leadership with the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives
