About the Role

The BDM is the main interface between the Company's clients and Vendors including the end customer of the Partner. BDM is responsible for business expansion & execution of the vendors' strategy. The BDM is responsible for the complete sales cycle with an aim to maximizing revenue, Net Gross Profits and Channels satisfaction by developing deep relationships with key people in the Vendor organization, partners and end customers. Will be responsible for handling Vendor independently, clearly focusing on delivery top-class value-added services.

What You'll Do

  • Identify new opportunities and potential channels (Partners).

  • Establish and manage contacts and negotiations with potential and developing channels.

  • Drive sales out of agreed vendor portfolio including new vendor identification and on-boarding and other business development initiatives in order to optimize results

  • Enable and help the sales teams to win and grow share of wallet and market share.

  • Create and implement development plans for potential and developing channels, aligning them with TD SYNNEX and Cybersecurity Vendors objectives.

  • Establish the necessary cadences for monitoring the development plan of potential and underdevelopment channels;

  • Monitor, evaluate and report the performance and return of business development initiatives, using metrics and indicators;

  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and technical support, to ensure partner needs are met and strategic alignment exists.

  • Identify training opportunities for sales teams, ensuring they are equipped to maximize the potential of the channels.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on channel performance and market opportunities.

  • Full knowledge of assigned product/service line. (Cybersecurity Vendor).

  • Key customer engagement

  • Have a clear understanding of TD SYNNEX's core value proposition and be able to communicate it effectively to partners.

  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • +4 years’ experience related with Commercial or Business Development with Cybersecurity Vendors.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

  • Experience in similar roles such as: Vendor Manager, Product Manager, Account Manager, Channels Manager, and similar;

  • Cybersecurity Vendor sales certifications will be an advantage, like Fortinet, F5, Palo Alto, Trend Micro, Cloudflare, Cyberark, etc.

  • Results focused.

  • Negotiation skills and winning of key tenders and large deals.

    • Competent in all job functions and has general understanding of the industry practices, techniques and standards.

    • Develops solutions to a variety of problems and works on projects requiring evaluation and analysis. May refer to policies, practices and precedents for guidance but determines best course of action to achieve results.

    • Work is performed independently requiring judgment and discretion.

    • May receive some limited guidance for new assignments. Work may be reviewed for overall adequacy.

    • Interacts with management and professionals within department and other parts of the organization. May represent department externally on projects or with clients.

    • Actions impact the success of the overall department and sometimes the organization. Failure to accomplish work or erroneous decisions will result in delays to projects, loss of revenue or allocation of additional resources to remedy.
