Team Description
Our team is looking for a Business Data Analyst who will report to the Business Intelligence and Strategic Partnerships leader, within our Lodging, Ground and Sea team, in our Sabre office.
This is a high impact opportunity to develop and drive the strategic direction for one of the leading global travel technology companies.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct data validation and ensure accuracy in reporting and analysis
- Support ad-hoc data requests from internal teams, ensuring timely and accurate insights
- Develop and maintain reports leveraging data in business intelligence tools such as Cognos, SQL and/or BigQuery
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to optimize business strategies
- Design, create and maintain comprehensive reports, visualizations and insights based on data findings
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Advanced English level both verbal and written
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros) and PowerPoint (data visualization, storytelling)
- Knowledge of SQL and/or BigQuery tools for querying and analyzing datasets
- Experience with Cognos, Looker or similar BI tools is a plus
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Impeccable oral and written communication skills, with the ability to creatively tell stories and adjust tone and style based on audience
