Business coordinator - Central & West Africa Region

This position works out of our UAE location in the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics – Infectious Diseases

This is a fixed term contract role for 12 months

The business coordinator will support the Regional General Manager, Regional Heads of Sales, and Country Managers in French West Africa in all aspects related to developing sales strategies and campaigns. Acting as the first point of contact for Africa and International team members, as well as for new business leads and product inquiries. Contributing to various business functions including marketing, regulatory compliance, legal, OEC, finance, and data analysis. Ensuring the sales team meets its targets through efficient coordination and support.

What You''ll Do:

  • Drive weekly regional reviews with RD’s and CM’s on Covid Business, New Business and Focus product Business.

  • Lead weekly pipeline reporting, review, and management with French west Africa commercial team (Sales, marketing, market access).

  • Update French West Africa Sales Outlook file on a weekly basis ensuring all pipeline queries are updated and orders received Captured.

  • Deep dive into sales opportunities and assist team to overcoming internal barriers to success. Ensuring PO’s are in to meet quarterly targets

  • Work with all internal stakeholder to find common working platform and drive assistance to the sales team to deliver the numbers.

  • Support in administrative duties for commercial leaders in French West Africa region.

  • Organize regional Demand file with Regional Sales Managers to prepare the monthly forecast file using the input from SFDC, the business pipeline tracker and the Country Managers feedback.

  • Sales Funnel Management: support Country Managers in updating and tracking business order pipeline on a weekly basis and provide timely updates on sales performance and execution of order fulfilment process.

  • Follow up with customer service and supply chain teams to track the execution of all critical steps required in the order fulfillment process.

  • Project Management, e.g. New Product Introduction, collection all country data and sales potentials and mapping closure. Working with marketing, medical affairs, regulatory and commercial to close these sales. 

  • Ensure Daily and weekly reporting submission to the Sales Leads on specific sales projects.

  • Ensure sales team are following all internal process to driving POR creation, vendors and events management.

  • Ensure team is following OEC approval process for meetings, event and conferences.

  • Actively assisting in the processing of FOC samples required for either evaluation, validations, or registration within the region.

  • Assist the CMS with documentations with Tenders and RFQ requirements as well as submission of Tender applications when required

  • Follow up with sales team Forecast review and alignment.

  • Follow up on with Sales team on orders and alignment with finance team.

  • Follow up with country managers to ensure timely data uploads and data validation on Sales Force.COM

  • Assist sales team to ensure all distribution partners have updated contracts and ensure that they

  • are kept updated.

  • Review Distributor service fee schedules with regions and provide process guidelines in order to close outstanding service fees for regions.

  • Ensure sales leads are logged and followed up on specific projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Sales/Data management experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as senior sales assistant.

  • English and French written and spoken is mandatory.
