As a Business Consultant at NFQ Industrial Solutions, you will be the primary point of contact for prospects and clients to identify, engage, and nurture potential opportunities that fit our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). You will represent NFQ Industrial Solutions at events and in direct outreach efforts, delivering presentations on our solutions and fostering relationships that ultimately lead to new business. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong communication skills, a consultative mindset, and the drive to convert potential leads into meaningful partnerships.
In this role, you will:
- This role encompasses five key responsibilities: customer engagement & outreach, presentation & workshop facilitation, relationship management, opportunity identification & qualification, collaboration & knowledge sharing.
- Proactively approach prospective clients through direct outreach (calls, emails, social platforms) and in-person visits.
- Attend and network at relevant external events to pinpoint and engage target customers based on ICP criteria.
- Follow up diligently with interested leads to maintain momentum and build trust.
- Deliver compelling stage presentations and demos at industry events, conferences, and internal workshops.
- Serve as a workshop host when needed, guiding participants through use cases, solutions, and value propositions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure workshop content aligns with client needs and market trends.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects, existing clients, and key stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Market Development Manager to align lead generation activities and event strategies.
- Coordinate with the Partnership Manager on product and partnership developments to remain updated on the latest solution offerings.
- Conduct initial needs assessments to identify challenges, requirements, and potential project opportunities within client organizations.
- Qualify leads based on relevance, urgency, and potential ROI, ensuring a high-value pipeline.
- Collaborate with internal delivery teams to extract all necessary information about client requirements, scope, and timelines.
- Provide valuable market and customer insights to internal stakeholders (Market Development Manager, Partnership Manager, Project Coordinator) to refine product offerings.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all sales and business development activities, including client interactions, proposal statuses, and follow-up tasks.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align company-wide objectives, strategy, and go-to-market plans.

What you will bring:
- The ideal candidate is a highly skilled professional with over three years of experience in sales or business development within industrial automation or technology, and excels in consultative selling, communication, and proficiency in Vietnamese and English, with additional languages as a bonus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3+ years in a sales, business development, or consultancy role within industrial automation, software solutions, or technology services.
- Consultative Selling: Strong ability to identify client challenges and propose tailored solutions.
- Presentation & Public Speaking: Experience delivering engaging talks or demos at conferences, webinars, and workshops.
- Communication & Relationship-Building: Excellent interpersonal skills; able to connect with diverse stakeholders and maintain positive, long-term relationships.
- Market & Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial automation, FMS, ERP/MES, and data management solutions is highly preferred.
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales and lead generation targets.
- Team Collaboration: Comfortable working within a cross-functional environment, coordinating with marketing, partnerships, and delivery teams.
- Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Ability to pivot strategies based on evolving market conditions or client feedback.
- Proficiency in Vietnamese & English (written and spoken) is required; additional language skills (German/ French/ Japanese/ Mandarin/ Korean/ etc.) are a plus.
