The Business Applications Analyst - Salesforce CPQ role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of business processes and data analysis. They will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals.

 

This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce CRM, and Salesforce CPQ business processes, and data analysis. The individual will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving Salesforce adoption, and optimizing our CPQ solution. The role will include both solution design and user story creation as well as hands on configuration as needed.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct in-depth business process analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Design and implement Salesforce and CPQ solutions to address business needs, including configuration, customization, and data integration.
  • Develop and maintain detailed business process flows and documentation.
  • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies, collaborating closely with development teams.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Salesforce and CPQ related issues.
  • Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Analyze Salesforce CPQ data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and best practices.

What you will bring to Coupa:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce CPQ
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce CPQ and areas such as price rules, product rules, discount schedules, price dimensions, multi dimensional quoting, usage based pricing, etc.
  • Proven experience in Salesforce CPQ configuration, customization, and data management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to self-start and dive into engagements with the business with little initial information.
  • Ability to work independently with reviews at critical points.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Salesforce Admin certification
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, etc.) is a plus.

The estimated pay range for this role is as follows:


•Based in California: $83,300-$98,000

•Based in Colorado: $74,375-$87,500

•Based in New Jersey: $83,300-$98000

•Based in New York: $83,300-$98,000

•Based in Washington: $78,625 -$92,500


The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
