Business Analytics Senior Analyst
Position Overview
We’re seeking a Senior Analyst to work alongside a team of ultra-talented and highly driven analysts to unlock new capabilities through collaborative and innovative approaches to solving real-world problems in U.S. healthcare.
We need a critical-thinking consultative-minded self-starter passionate about solving complex problems while leveraging emerging technology and extensive data sets to help us better anticipate what’s next and curate compelling stories that give rise to action.

Responsibilities
Leverage your robust knowledge of the US Healthcare system and data sets to creatively explore and identify ways to reimagine how to deliver greater predictability and affordability
Adopt an agile approach to iteratively build solutions based on well-structured hypotheses and robust test-and-learn approaches that result in transformative capabilities.
Partner with our US and Hyderabad-based teams to:
< >Ensure our contracts with major health systems are performing to expectations Identify the root cause of trend and cost variance driversFormulate and succinctly communicate remediation recommendations for our US-based teams to engage with health systems to address concerns Monitor and quantity effects of remediation actions Lead efforts to advance medical trend early-detection and monitoring capabilitiesTest and learn how to leverage early indicators of trend by leveraging leading data sources relevant for better anticipating and explaining Precision TrendValidate the relevance of leading data sources to anticipate and explain TrendDeploy consistent methodologies to identify and explain drivers of deviation from PlanEvaluate whether identified deviations from Plan are anomalies or likely to persist and calculate financial effects Communicate findings and suggested adjustments to Plan and future trend expectations to Directors and Senior Leadership Team members Cultivate Collaborative Relationships – fostering a strong collaborative culture and championing a shared services analytics capability while hearing and considering things happening in the macro business and offering suggestions of areas to investigate, based on your data discoveries and team’s capabilities Define, pull, and validate data needs - dive deep to infer meaning and uncover insightful data trends that inform real-world decisions.Tell compelling stories – distill complex subject matters into simple stories that give rise to action

Required Education
< >Bachelor’s degree in either Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
Required Experience
< >3-5 years of practical US healthcare analytics working within at least one specialized domain of claims-related experience, reimbursement methodologies, or medical terminology (CPT, Dx, ICD10, HCPCS, Rev Codes, etc.)Proven track record contributing to complex analytics projects
Technical Requirements
< >3-5 years of practical technical coding languages (ie. SQL, Python, etc.), enterprise databases, and data architecture (i.e Databricks, Teradata, Oracle, and DB2) and ability to index, partition, and tune the performance of models Ability to hear and translate ideas into self-built functional designs with complementary technical details that support scale and require minimal maintenance 3-5 years of data warehousing, profiling, and analyzing disparate datasets with the ability to convert into actionable insightsDemonstrated ability in building reports leveraging business intelligence reporting capabilities – i.e. Tableau with demonstrated stories of how the business has acted against insights
Desired Experience and Skills
< >Constantly consider the, “So What?” and “Now What?” behind your work and ask the right questions to anticipate and gauge whether a team/project will deliver what is neededExercises extreme comfort with ambiguity with the humbleness to know when something isn’t working and to boldly communicate the need to pivot to achieve results, fasterPrevious experience working on medical economics-related initiatives (Unit Costs, Medical or Pharmacy Cost Trend drivers, etc.) Previous pharmacy/PBM experience with ability to leverage Rx data to better predict medical trends and cost variance drivers
Location & Hours of Work
< >Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriatePrimarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India in a hybrid working model (3 days WFO and 2 days WAH)
