Avantor is looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking, and experienced Business Analytics Analyst I, who will be responsible for delivering results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Elicit and translate customer and business stakeholder needs into clear business and technical requirements
- Ability to participate in or lead strategic projects with stakeholders to drive business results
- Project Management Skills, including Agile/SCRUM methodologies (PMP Certification a plus)
- Ability to participate in operational meetings, conduct process related training programs for stakeholders
- Ability to identify and define process improvement opportunities
- Ability to identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Ability to interpret data, and analyze results using basic statistical analysis
- Experience in data cleaning, data transformation & data wrangling
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying
- Experience with Snowflake
- Experience with JIRA is helpful
- Ideally have knowledge of database fundamentals such as relational database design
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, including Power Query and DAX)
- Ability to ensure all metrics and other reports are published on time and accurately
EXPERIENCE:
- Proven working experience as a business analyst for 3+ years
- Knowledge of supply chain & SAP preferred
- Experience in project management with the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Experience in Six Sigma/Lean Concepts preferred
