BUSINESS ANALYST

At Foley, a Business Analyst serves as a bridge between business needs and technology solutions. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, uncover insights, and support strategic initiatives that improve product performance, operational efficiency, and customer success.

This is a remote option. People who live in Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin can apply.

The compensation for this position starts at $65,000 annually.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

As a Business Analyst, you'll work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Sales.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Analyze datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements
  • Triage and review issues with functionality and determine alignment with business expectations
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align with business requirements and needs
  • Evaluate SaaS metrics such as product usage analytics
  • Recommend solutions and optimizations to processes based on data findings
  • Drive continuous improvement through process analysis and automation opportunities

WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO HAVE

  • 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role in a SaaS technology environment
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365); product analytics tools (e.g., Heap, Google Analytics)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in SQL, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and metrics
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Knowledge of computing platforms, software architecture, and database designs
  • Understanding of product development lifecycle and experience with SDLC tools such as Atlassian's suite of tools or Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint

  • Good communication skills — Talk to people who are involved in the product, customers, and leaders about the product. You should be able to understand their language and how they talk about it.
