Job Description:
Position Overview
- A Business Analyst who plans, designs, and recommends business processes to improve and support business activities
- Understands how information technology interfaces with the functional groups within an organization. Analyses and documents clients' business requirements and processes.
- Constructs conceptual data and process models, including data dictionaries and volume estimates.
- Tests business applications from a business perspective to verify that all client requirements are incorporated into the design.
- Provides business process and re-engineering support to clients.
- Facilitates meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions.
- Participates in work groups and work sessions with business and technical consultants to explore business process improvement and re-engineering opportunities.
Essential skills and Experience
- Must be a self- starter / able to work independently without direction
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Awareness/Experience in using Business Analysis methods such as, PEST, Porter, Forcefield, Business Diamond Model, Results Chain, Business Outcome, Benefits Realisation, Problem Statement Capture or others as appropriate
- Capable of assisting in producing a Business Case to support investment in projects and identifying the expected ROI
- Experienced at Workshop Facilitation, both in person and remotely, using collaboration tools that integrate with MS Teams
- Experienced in working at the interface of Data & IT with functional groups within an organization
- Experienced in working with Business Processes and re-engineering. Effective use of Process Analysis tools such as Visio, or similar, to produce Process Diagrams, documenting actors, swim lanes, and decision points.
- Experience of validating, confirming and documenting Business Requirements and Processes as Business Analyst Lead.
- Ability to engage with the business to be a trusted partner in championing their requirements and issues

- Experience of Change Management and Change Control
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good team work
- Comfortable with face-to-face client contact at a senior level
- Use to defining User Journeys / User Experience
Desirable Skills
- Awareness of using JIRA, Blueworks or similar
- Experience of Reporting and Business Analysis
- Experience of leading a small workstreams
