What will you be doing in this role?
- Collection and documentation of functional business requirements
- Analysis of business requirements and business processes
- Assist in the elaboration and/or validation of various project documents elaborated by the internal team or system supplier (e.g. business analysis document, project initiation request, project charter, business case, architecture overview, vision documents, user guides or help desk related documentation)
- Elaborate business analysis documents, gap analysis documents, write user stories and use cases
- Analyze and assist in the validation of the solution proposed for the implementation of the identified requirements
- Assist in the elaboration of test plans and test cases by providing specific business knowledge when required, validate the delivered solution, participate in manual testing.
- Risk analysis; propose solutions to the identified problems by applying problem-solving techniques.
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Master's degree in IT or related field and minimum 9 years of experience in IT.
- At least 6 years of specific expertise in BPMN, UML, Use Case analysis
- Experience with SAG ARIS (EA/BPM tool)
- Knowledge models/ ontologies, data modelling skills, XML/XSLT/JSON and data management/processing in general
- Excellent critical thinker with a very good knowledge on how IT systems work - a high level understanding of architecture types, data models, software development and best practices at technical level etc
- Very good knowledge and experience of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagrams, state diagrams, entity relationship models, BPMN or UML or other with equivalent value)
- Proven experience in requirements gathering and business analysis for larger systems with a spread user base and gaps in business documentation
- Good understanding of web application architecture and user interfaces, ability to propose basic mock-up screens which can be enriched further by UX specialists
- Good understanding of software development project methodologies (e.g. PMP, PM², Agile, Kanban)
- Business Analyst related certifications (i.e. IREB, BPMN 2.0, etc.) would be an advantage
- Fluency in English at least at a level B2.
