As a Business Analyst Senior you will report to the IS Manager/Director and will work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to and the implementation of new business processes, policies, and information systems at all levels of complexity. Within the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) domain, the Business Analyst Senior will perform a liaison between the business and the IT side of the enterprise, also can provide detailed system training, testing, and support.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Project Execution - Execute tasks at all levels of complexity during every phase of implementation projects including business process re-engineering, business analysis, training, testing, and support. May manage work packages which will require an understanding and adherence to IT implementation methodologies and practices (Project Management Methodology, Systems Development Methodology, Project Management Office).
- Application Support - Responsible for the analysis, requirements gathering, and testing during the IT system enhancement process. Responsible for the application support/incident management process (issue identification, root cause analysis, issue resolution, testing and change management), of IT system issues within Service Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines.
- Account Management - Develops and maintains relationships with a primary focus on Internal IT (Global Technology Center and In-Country) with a secondary focus on business customers including senior executives, providing support and analysis where necessary and ensuring alignment between IT and the Business.
- Coaching - Encourage junior resources to take responsibility for their development within McCain. Challenge others to develop as leaders, while serving as a role model. Shares acquired skills and business/system knowledge with team members through formal and informal channels.
- Product Management - May act as Product Manager for a specific application. Understand long term business requirements (3-5 years), determine application strategy to support those needs, and the creation of product planning documentation.
You must have these key qualifications and experiences to apply to the job:
- Post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Proven experience working on major system projects. In-depth knowledge of several primary application groups at the system level.
- Proven experience in SAP ECC and/or S4HANA. Preference for SAP-SD modules, electronic invoicing, understanding of regional legal changes (Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay)
- Proven expertise in knowledge exchange and liaison between IT and business stakeholders/users, as well as mentoring staff.
- Proven interpersonal skills to successfully work in a dynamic team and successfully deal with staff members from all levels of the organization.
- Intermediate English level.
- Spanish desirable.
