This job is primarily responsible for partnering with various stakeholders (Business Owners, Sponsors, Process Owners, End Users) to document, analyze and design enhancements to optimize business processes, integrated systems and lending platforms through the application of excellent communication, facilitation, and organization skills using proven best practice techniques and methodologies. This position will manage projects and assist business leaders in understanding and implementing specific software changes and enhancements, as well as the change management process. This position works closely with the Project Management Team, UI/UX Team, Development Team, and IT Quality Assurance Team to ensure the business needs are met, and all requirements are implemented accurately. Additionally, this position acts as a change leader with Business Partners within the organization and bridges the gap between the business users and the IT Team. This role will work independently while requiring general direction from experienced Business Analysts.

In this job, you will:

  • Lead, plan and manage cross-functional projects focused on business process and systems improvements, implementations and integrations, ensuring resources, tasks, timelines and deliverables are defined, tracked and achieved in line with budget and quality standards.  
  • Utilize requirement gathering techniques to collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, define and document end-user requirements or user stories per team processes and procedures.  
  • Present requirements documentation for review or approval, ensuring all stakeholders have a shared understanding of requirements or change.   
  • Analyze the impact of requirement changes and effectively communicate any potential risks or potential alternative solutions.   
  • Work in conjunction with other Business Systems Analysts, developers, administrators, IT QA staff, business owners and end-users to complete accurate and effective user acceptance testing of new programs, processes and applications to clarify requirements and document future needs.   
  • Act as a liaison between the business and IT staff to provide support for routine requests, on-going monitoring of systems data integrity, and general business systems support outside of new project responsibilities. 
  • Coordinate with Compliance team to maintain current policies and procedures for systems business use and adoption.   
  • Effectively translate technical details to user-friendly information and assist with planning, design and delivery of training materials for propagating business systems knowledge and increased user adoption.  
  • Work with stakeholders to compile information from business systems to formulate, interpret and analyze results for use in decision-making for the business.  
  • Evaluate, interpret, and provide critical information in support of strategic and operational objectives utilizing various reports and key performance metrics.  
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

Required – Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, related degree, or equivalent related experience, training and education.

Experience

Preferred – 2 years’ related experience working with financial or data analytics, business analysis or project management within a business systems environment.

Additional information you'll need to know:

Physical Demands & Requirements

Sedentary work.  Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.  Ability to sit/stand continuously.

Hearing.  Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction.  Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.

The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.

The physical environment requires the employee to work inside where there are limited extremes to heat and/or cold; moderate noise; a normal office environment.

Travel, travel for project work, meetings and training will be less than 5% of the employee’s total workdays.

The expected base pay range for this role is:

$87,424.00 - $106,177.00

Actual pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including work location, job-related knowledge, skills and relevant experience for the job. Pay amount does not guarantee employment for any particular period of time.
