What you’ll Do: 

The Business Analyst is responsible for maintaining the roadmap and execution to carry out the vision for assigned internal products. They will be a member of an Agile team responsible for defining Stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of product priorities, while maintaining conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components the team is responsible for. The Business Analyst will document the Epics and Features according to current needs, as well as execute on the products ongoing maintenance and enhancements. Critical to the role, the Business Analyst will build relationships with key stakeholders to influence and be a driver of execution in a fast-paced environment. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural ability to understand the business needs and to be able to execute enhancements based off the needs of the business.

  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Performing requirements analysis.
  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Performing user acceptance testing.
  • Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
  • Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
  • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Managing competing resources and priorities.
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Requirements We Look For:   

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA is a plus.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in business analysis or building distribution experience.
  • Two years of leading large cross-functional teams on major internal organizational projects preferred.
  • Experience with Agile as a Product Owner preferred.
  • Working experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
  • Understanding of web (and mobile technologies), with ability to analyze user requirements and triage defect logs.
