The Job
We’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst – who will be empowered to prepare and develop effective customisation scopes, which actively reflect our customer’s business and commercial needs.
As an exciting new opening for Simpro, this is primarily a full-time remote position (with occasional travel into our Leeds office, and/or customer sites).
The role is budgeted for an initial fixed-term period of 12 months, but with potential to become permanent.
What You’ll Do
- Engage with enterprise customers to understand, document, and challenge business goals, processes, and pain points.
- Work closely with internal cross-functional teams to gather, design, specify, and refine custom software solutions that meet strategic goals while aligning with Simpro’s SaaS product capabilities.
- Drive discovery and requirements workshops, user story creation, and acceptance criteria development.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with both customer business needs and the long-term vision of our SaaS platform.
- Support pre-sales efforts by providing input on solution design, scoping, and estimating.
- Analyse and map business processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Support in the development of User Acceptance Testing to ensure solutions meet Simpro’s business and customer needs
What You’ll Bring
- 3 to 5+ years working as a Business Analyst
- Worked in Agile environments
- Worked for or with a SaaS company (or similar)
- Experience working with system integrations, APIs, data flows (Desirable)
- Worked with Salesforce, Jira, Confluence or similar (Desirable)
- Working knowledge of Google Suite products (Desirable)
- Track record of working with and influencing various stakeholder groups
