ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team, supporting a Tier 1 Wholesale Bank's initiative to modernize and upgrade its end-to-end technology architecture. This includes the implementation of global strategic platforms within the scope of credit risk management, risk analytics, and related business areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the coordination and production of detailed business requirements for credit risk management systems and processes.
- Develop business/data architectural designs and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between upstream and downstream platforms across wholesale banking, capital markets, trade finance, and other functions.
- Facilitate the review and approval of key documentation by senior stakeholders.
- Utilize JIRA to create, assign, and track deliverables for IT teams, ensuring timely and quality delivery of technology change initiatives.
- Post-implementation, support the production and updating of business transformation artefacts, including process maps, data lineage documentation, policies, and procedural documents.
- Assist in planning and executing parallel transformation activities to align processes, systems, and policies with new technological capabilities.
KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong knowledge of credit risk concepts, processes, and management frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in large-scale technology change programmes within financial services.
- Familiarity with data architecture, integration interfaces, and risk analytics platforms.
- Proficiency in JIRA or similar tools for task tracking and project management.
- Strong ability to produce detailed business and data requirements, process maps, and transformation documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.
- Experience in wholesale banking, capital markets, trade finance, and related areas is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data lineage mapping and process reengineering.
- Familiarity with credit risk technology platforms and global regulatory frameworks.
- Advanced degree or certifications in finance, data management, or related fields.
