About the role:
The Business Analysis Sales Manager is responsible for optimizing sales processes, driving operational efficiencies, and supporting revenue growth through data-driven insights and financial planning. This role serves as a strategic partner to sales leadership, ensuring smooth execution of sales initiatives, accurate forecasting, and effective financial planning to maximize profitability.
A day in the life of our Business Analysis Sales Manager:
- Partner with sales leadership to optimize sales processes, tools, and performance metrics.
- Develop and refine sales forecasting models to support revenue predictability.
- Analyze sales pipeline data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement and manage CRM best practices to improve data accuracy and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success, to drive
- Assist in annual and quarterly sales planning, setting quotas, and defining KPIs.
- Track sales team performance against targets and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Support budget planning and allocation for sales initiatives.
- Provide financial insights on pricing strategies, discounting policies, and profitability analysis.
- Develop reports and dashboards to present financial and operational insights to leadership.
- Identify bottlenecks in sales workflows and implement solutions to increase productivity.
- Drive automation and process improvements to enhance sales efficiency.
- Work closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with financial policies.
- Provide training and support to sales teams on operational best practices.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Sales Operations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or financial planning, preferably in a SaaS or technology sales environment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in sales forecasting, reporting, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), Excel, and BI tools.
- Experience working with financial planning and budgeting processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in software or high-end/mid-market sales environments.
- Understanding of SaaS sales models, revenue forecasting, and financial planning tools.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and sales metrics.
The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $180,000 OTE. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
