Responsibilities

  • Establish and enforce work standards for the Budget & Business Operations Team.
  • Manage and monitor financial obligations and commitments for programs/projects related to federal real property management.
  • Provide expert guidance in budgeting, finance, and business operations to optimize processes and outcomes.
  • Assist government agencies in audit preparation, execution, and response.
  • Lead efforts to improve business processes related to infrastructure and construction within the federal government.
  • Foster collaboration among team members and stakeholders to achieve program goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business, or an MBA from an accredited university.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of five (5) years managing programs or projects related to real property management in the federal government.
  • At least seven (7) years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience assisting government agencies with audits.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and finance functions within the context of federal real property management.
  • Certifications:
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI), Professional Engineer (PE) license, or Architectural Registration (license).
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in improving business processes related to federal infrastructure and construction.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to mentor and lead teams effectively in a collaborative environment.
