The Creative Strategy team builds the strategy of Woven City along with the creatives for mainly the Woven City project. The team supports projects that have company-wide impact, especially directing and advising on communication for Woven by Toyota and Woven City projects.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join our newly established Creative Strategy team.
You will be to understand the Purpose/Vision/Mission of the company as well as the current strategy and guidelines, and to implement them in each project.
You will manage projects across teams, ensuring delivery and alignment with communication objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is based in Tokyo, Japan, and reports to the Lead of the Creative Strategy Team. Below are the main scope / responsibilities of the role.
・Plan, execute and oversee projects from conception to completion
・Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PR, marketing, brand, and product development
・Facilitate clear and effective communication among team members and stakeholders and monitor progress to ensure successful project outcomes
・Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, providing solutions
・Conduct regular syncs and project status meetings and updates, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged
・Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging innovative thinking and problem-solving
・Maintain project documentation, including project management tools, reports, proposals, and presentations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of experience in project managing in creative agencies or marketing
- Experience working with external agencies, design studios, and vendors
- Critical thinker with an understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Experience working in a cross-functional, multicultural team environment
- Fluent in Japanese with excellent communication skills
- Business level English, and experience working in an global environment
NICE TO HAVES:
- Interested in UX, Human Centered Design, Behavioral Design, and Strategy
- Previous experience, preferably in the tech industry
- Interested in contributing in brainstorming sessions and workshops to support in generating innovative ideas and solutions
