Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Brand Program Manager to join our Private Brands (PB) Strategy and Program Management team based in Bellevue, WA. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, a self-starter and will have a strong product marketing background that leverages data and consumer insights to drive communication strategy, and creative execution across packaging and site touchpoints.  Collaborating closely with our business leaders, studio and creative teams,  sourcing & product development teams, quality assurance and legal partners, you will be responsible for bringing products to market through the successful, on-time execution and delivery of best-in-class creative assets and customer communications. You will lead cross-functional teams to  identify roadblocks and improve the processes, tools, and timelines that enable our team to efficiently deliver packaging and creative assets with operational excellence and facilitate scalability. As a Private Brands Brand Program Manager, you must be an excellent communicator, an enthusiastic and proactive problem solver with a heightened sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability to see projects from start to finish.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead cross-functional team to develop best-in-class packaging and site assets for new and renovated private brand products geared toward standing out on the digital shelf and driving conversion while managing consistent branding across all.
  • Develop thorough and clear marketing briefs with well-thought-out direction for all types of packaging and product detail page creative assets.
  • Ensure brand standards are upheld across creative and product positioning.
  • Manage in partnership with Creative Services and Studio Operations packaging artwork and creative assets for site, including images, videos, product descriptions & other content to sell a product.
  • Work closely with our Creative & Studio Project Managers to meet and exceed development timelines and accelerate time where needed.
  • Liaison between Product Development/Sourcing and Creative/Studio; communicating updates, finding and following up on information needed, translating and providing actionable feedback, addressing issues, and resolving conflicting feedback/direction.
  • Partner with Private Brands QA & Regulatory and Business Teams to identify site communication strategies to ensure better customer experience for our Private Brands products.
  • Manage day-to-day escalations and communicate effectively in difficult and time-sensitive situations.
  • Report and present performance results to leadership/partners summarizing findings, outlining key contributors, providing insights, and delivering overall recommendations for ongoing programs.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years in marketing role at retail/e-commerce/CPG company.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Track record of successfully working with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
  • Experience in developing briefs for creative partners internal and external.
  • Experience in managing the development of packaging design, product positioning, and all onsite assets (images, video, etc.) to help sell a product on a digital shelf preferred.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven e-commerce or similar environment managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a proven ability to use analytical, innovative and quick-on-your-feet thinking to deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Confidently able to share perspective, recommendations and areas of opportunity with reasoning backed by data and insights that will influence key stakeholders and partners.
  • A demonstrated track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills in all situations while delivering results.
  • Strong ability to guide creative direction through clear, effective communication.
  • Proficiency in software/platforms such as JIRA and Workfront as well as reporting tools like Tableau is a plus.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.

Pay Range

$95,500$152,500 USD
