About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Growth Strategy Consultant to serve as a Brand Manager for Auto as a part of our Consumer Lending Business Growth Strategy Team. The Brand Manager will be working with our strategic Original Manufacturer Equipment (OEM) and Captive Finance partner and be responsible for collaborating with the partner as well as internal stakeholders to devise programs and strategies aligned to our partnership and business objectives. This individual will work across multiple lines of business to identify and develop opportunities to deepen our relationship by leveraging unique assets and capabilities available across Wells Fargo. This position will report to the Business Growth Strategy Executive (General Manager) managing the overall Captive Finance partnership. In this role, you will:

Lead efforts in coordinating the Wells Fargo Auto and OEM/Captive relationships, including both Auto and Motorcycle, owning communication and execution between the brands and the two organizations ensuring coordination and accountability of shared goals/objectives

Be responsible for supporting the overall client relationship, including adherence to contractual obligations, promoting business growth, and identifying opportunities to improve program effectiveness

Develop growth strategies to acquire new customers, build market share, and drive customer loyalty and engagement

Act as a top subject matter expert within the Business Growth Strategy functional area to lead initiatives that promote and advance companywide finance with the goal of growth expansion

Lead business growth strategies for business development requiring in-depth evaluation

Support various Business Growth Strategy projects to maximize growth and minimize expenses

Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding implementation of innovative and significant business strategies that significantly influence the business and financial operations

Engage with all levels of professionals and managers internally and externally and serve as an experienced advisor to leadership within the Business Growth Strategy functional area

Build and maintain strong relationships and regular communication with key stakeholders within Wells Fargo and partner organization.

Coordinate and lead a regular cadence of business reviews and collaboration discussions with partner

Create and lead effective presentations for all levels of management including executive levels within Wells Fargo and C-Suite executives with the partner

Maintain strong risk management discipline in managing the strategic partner relationship, ensure the business follows established policies and procedures and has appropriate controls in place

Track competitive movements for product features, pricing, customer experience; monitor vehicle trends and strategies to develop a consistent process to support the needs of the partner relationship
Required Qualifications:
-
7+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:

5+ years of Auto Industry experience

5+ years Motorcycle/Powersports Industry experience

5+ years of Direct Auto Finance Lending experience

5+ years of Strategic Project Management

Brand Management experience, preferably in the financial services or consumer lending industry

Sales and prospecting experience, preferably in the auto industry

Excellent client relationship management skills

Outstanding communication, presentation, and influencing skills

Strong collaboration and partnering skills with the ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resources

Experience taking initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership

Strong business acumen with proven ability to develop subject matter expertise in new subjects quickly

Demonstrated track record of working effectively in a team environment, across all organizational levels, and building superior partnerships with a broad set of partners

Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
