The Department
For more than 30 years, CAA Brand Management has helped brands of all shapes and sizes show up in new consumer product categories, experiences and territories, through licensing, strategic partnerships and joint ventures. CAA Brand Management is a division of Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Together we represent many of the most successful global brands and professionals working in television, film, music, theatre, video games, sports, and digital content. We also provide a range of strategic and marketing consulting services to corporate clients.
The Role
CAA Brand Management is currently seeking a Staff Accountant to assist the local finance manager in the day to day accounting activities.
Responsibilities

Accounting in the local system, including invoicing and recording Expenses.

Review expense reports for T&E reimbursement.

Gross up calculations for tax requirements to be included in payroll.

Enter invoices in AP system.

Set up bank wires and transfers in HSBC.net.

Assist local finance manager with the accounting for the Brazil office

Assist local finance manager with other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
-
3-5+ years of Accounting/AP/AR experience
-
Bachelor’s or Associate degree with a business background preferred, or equivalent work experience

Organized with superb attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to communicate well with a broad spectrum of international and domestic clients

Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and multi-task
-
Proficiency in the English language (written and verbal)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, special emphasis on Excel

Team player
Location
This role will be based out of the Mexico City office.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $330,000 - $430,000 MXN. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
