About the Role

Essity Professional Hygiene is looking for an experienced Brand Communications Manager who is responsible for delivering on the marketing communication strategy of the Business Unit. The role is responsible for developing, implementing, managing and controlling the full funnel, omni-channel brand communications activities for segments, products, services and solutions within the framework of the BU strategic plans.

The ideal candidate should/could live near an Essity main office.

What You Will Do

  • Leads communication process, working closely with Segment, Product, Brand, Services and Solutions, Omni-channel, Regional Customer Marketing, and Global stakeholders.
  • Evaluates, recommends and effectively executes a variety of communication tools and media, to include a mix of digital and traditional channels.
  • Partners with regional internal contacts in markets with Essity operations to ensure effective delivery of communications initiatives.
  • Develops communication strategies and plans, with responsibility for creation of briefs, budgets and timelines.
  • Represent brand communications in product and innovation council meetings
  • Contributes to best practice sharing within the communications function
  • Manages external agencies and providers as needed

Who You Are

  • University Degree in Marketing, Communication, Digital, or higher is required
  • 3+ years working experience in Marketing, Communication, Digital preferably in matrixed and/or global corporation, include bought, owned, earned media.
  • Expertise in external communications and digital media
  • Solid understanding of Omni-channel marketing tactics
  • Expertise in internal communications, communications consulting and project management
  • Excellent writing, editing, communications, networking and relationship building
  • Excellent digital communication skills
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30% internationally and domestically
