As a Brand Accountant on the BackOffice team, a typical day for you will include:

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare financial statements, analyze data, and document business transactions.

  • Franchise Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for franchisees, providing accounting guidance and support.

  • Bank Reconciliations: Prepare and review bank reconciliations.

  • Royalty Submissions: Submit and verify financial data for royalty submissions.

  • Training and Support: Train and support franchisees and staff in accounting practices and procedures.

(Required qualifications)

  • Experience: 3-5 years of Bookkeeping/Accounting experience and expertise with QuickBooks Online. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook

  • Skills:

    • Detail-oriented and organized

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Accounting knowledge

    • Deadline-driven

    • Excellent time management

    • Strong communication and customer service skills

    • Sense of humor

  • Education: Minimum of an Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

  • Schedule / in-office requirements: Remote or Hybrid, Waco or Irving TX
