Position Summary:
RSI Security is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our remote team. This role requires strong proficiency in bookkeeping and experience with tools such as HubSpot, QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Tallie. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous approach to managing financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with established financial guidelines. 

This position involves a commitment of 20 hours per week, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, global team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record and manage daily financial transactions in QuickBooks and related systems.
  • Maintain updated and organized financial records, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
  • Generate and submit financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets, for management review.
  • Ensure timely processing of vendor payments and invoices.
  • Collaborate with external accountants to assist with tax compliance and reporting.
  • Monitor expenditures, identify potential cost-saving opportunities, and provide insights to support budgetary goals.
  • Maintain secure and organized financial records to ensure readiness for audits and compliance requirements.
  • Stay current with updates in bookkeeping best practices and tools.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Use HubSpot to collaborate with team members and manage relevant financial workflows.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a remote work setting.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Bill.com, Tallie, and HubSpot (or similar tools).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
