Boat Claims and Towing Representative - Springfield, VA

Salary: $23.91 per hour/$48,175 annually

The Boat Claims and Towing team is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Boat Claims and Towing Representative. We are looking for an individual who can handle heavy call volume in a fast-paced work environment. Job responsibilities include dispatching towing services, selling and servicing BoatU.S. memberships and settling first party, non-injury claims.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • In office position - must be willing to commute to a GEICO office in Springfield, VA    
  • Prior call center or customer facing experience preferred
  • Strong computer proficiency and typing ability – experience with Microsoft Office, e-mail, Web-enabled applications, and database software
  • Outstanding customer service and professional communication skills, both over the phone and written
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work successfully in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
