Billing Advisor

Linklaters, LLP seeks Billing Advisor in New York, NY to manage Work in Progress (WIP) reports and Debtors balances for allocated practice groups to ensure timely client billing and efficient cash collection to meet the monthly billing and cash targets, utilizing SAP, NIM, Time Cloud and Bex Analyzer. Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in any field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: managing Work In Progress (WIP) on matters for various practice groups; preparing bills in relevant finance systems including SAP/R3 and DTA; managing matters in relation to pricing and fee deals utilizing Engage and global legal industry billing practices; and running financial reporting for practice groups from various in-house systems including NIM, DTR, Bex, and Collect. In the alternative, the employer will accept a master’s degree in any field and three (3) years of experience in the billing or accounting field to satisfy the education requirement. Telecommuting and/or working from home is permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting must report to worksite.

The base salary range offered for this role will be between $100,000 to $110,000 per year, 40 hours/week and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, performance, qualifications, as well as the needs of the firm. The total compensation package for this position may include discretionary bonuses and other benefits.
