Big Data Platform Administrator (M/F)

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial is looking for a Big Data Platform Administrator M/F  to join our Big Data Platform Services (DIBS) team based in Toulouse.

As a Big Data Platform Administrator, you will design, deploy and optimize cutting-edge Big Data services, ensuring their performance, security and reliability. Working closely with Airbus IT and business teams, you will deliver high-impact solutions and provide technical expertise to support evolving needs.

Your Challenges

• Deploy, manage and optimize Big Data platforms/services.

• Define technical standards and best practices.

• Ensure compliance with software licensing policies.

• Automate processes to enhance efficiency.

• Maintain high performance, security and availability of solutions.

• Ensure compliance with Airbus regulations (security, data governance, export control).

Your boarding pass: 

We are looking for passionate, innovative professionals eager to drive change and share their expertise!

• Education: Background in IT, Aeronautics or related field.

• Experience: 3+ years in Big Data platform deployment and management.

• Technical Skills:

  • DevOps & automation (GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible).

  • Scripting (Python, Java, Bash).

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.

  • Cloud platforms (AWS, etc.).

  • OS automation (Ansible, etc.).

  • Containers (Kubernetes, HELM, Docker) is a plus.

• Soft Skills: Proactive, team player, adaptable, problem-solver, strong communicator.

• Language: Advanced English.
