The Opportunity:

Join us as an experienced Bid Proposal Specialist within our Submission Team based in Penrose, Auckland. 

We at Fulton Hogan, build and maintain infrastructure that improves the quality of life across New Zealand. Everything, from roads and bridges, to energy, water and communication.

As a confident communicator and presenter, you will build relationships throughout the organisation to craft compelling submissions that secure ongoing infrastructure projects. By infusing your passion and authenticity into persuasive bid proposals, you will take pride in contributing to the development and growth of Tāmaki Makaurau.

In addition to the above you will:

• Manage production and submissions of non-price attributes in line with brand guidelines and client requirements

• Developing key messaging and content that enhances the reader’s experience and understanding of our offer

• Working closely with the Submissions and Wider Outcomes Manager, tendering team and subject matter experts to gather information to meet review and submission deadlines

• Researching (internally and externally) to develop appropriate strategies and responses

• Ensuring technical information is factual, and commercial and legal requirements are met

• Administration, measurement and reporting on bid activities

We’re looking for someone with:

• Holds 5+ years’ experience in bid writing, business development or marketing

• Proficiency in Adobe and/or InDesign is advantageous

• Curiosity who can weave together technical and commercial elements to create compelling content

• Detail orientated whether editing documents or spotting inconsistencies and issues

• Calm under pressure and able to multi-task and prioritise in a deadline driven environment

• A confident communicator and presenter
