We are seeking a Bid Manager to lead and manage the entire bid process for new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process, and ensuring that our responses align with client needs/requirements. This role requires an understanding of the cybersecurity market and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to create winning bids. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Bid Management: 

  • Lead the end-to-end bid management process for cybersecurity-related tenders/ quotes/proposals, including gathering requirements, proposal writing, review, and submission. 

  • Coordinate internal resources (technical, commercial, legal) to develop high-quality responses that meet the client’s needs and align with organizational capabilities and risk appetite  

  • Develop comprehensive bid plans, timelines, and strategies to ensure on-time submission. 

  • Cross check costsheet with vendor quotes 
     

Proposal Development: 

  • Oversees the technical proposal and reviewing executive summary, solution overviews, formatting, compliance to customer format.  
     

Risk and Compliance Management: 

  • Document risks associated with the bid, including technical limitations, timeline risk, legal compliance, financial and ensure mitigation strategies are put in place 

  • Ensure all bids comply withinternal bid process/framework. 
     

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: 

  • Work closely with the sales, legal, and technical teams to ensure bid deliverables and milestones are met for timely submission 

  • Facilitate bid review meetings with senior leadership, ensuring the bid details, including technical solutioning, risks, pricing are properly and sufficiently presented for review and approval. 
     

Post-Bid Activities: 

  • Ensure lessons learned and bid feedback are captured and implemented for continuous improvement in future bids. 
     

Key Requirements: 

Experience: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bid management, preferably within the cybersecurity, technology, or IT services sectors. 

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and winning bids in a competitive environment. 

  • Good understanding of the cybersecurity landscape is advantageous. 
     

Skills and Competencies: 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences (executive, technical, commercial, legal). 

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and under tight deadlines. 

  • A strategic thinker with the ability to help craft executive summary that emphasize business value. 

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, technical, legal, and finance teams. 

  • High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, especially with Excel and Word. 
     

Education & Certifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field. 

  • Certifications in bid management, project management (e.g., APMP, PMP), or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM) would be an advantage.
