Role Scope

Lead the development of proposals for City Leap style long-term partnerships with cities and local authorities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, finance, and legal to ensure comprehensive and competitive bids.

Identify and analyse opportunities for new partnerships and projects in the energy efficiency and renewable energy sectors.

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in cities and local authorities.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the energy sector.

Manage the bid process from initial inquiry to contract award.

Monitor and report on bid progress and outcomes to senior management.

Prepare detailed documentation and presentations for bid submissions.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and advancements in energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies.

Negotiate and secure deals with cities and local authorities to ensure favourable terms and conditions.

Develop commercial strategies to maximize profitability and ensure sustainable growth.

Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments to support bid decisions.

Manage contract negotiations and ensure alignment with company objectives.

Provide commercial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Secure long-term public-private partnerships to drive sustainable development and innovation in the energy sector.

Deep understanding of social value drivers to prepare compelling practical measures for inclusion in winning bids

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field

Experience in a similar role.

Knowledge of the energy sector

Familiarity with UK Regulations and standards related to public sector partnerships

Familiar with MS Office
