THE ROLE:


The DAZN BET’s BI Analyst/Engineer role is responsible for collecting, processing, and performing analyses on large datasets to extract meaningful insights. This role involves using statistical tools, programming languages, and data visualization techniques to support data-driven decision-making. Role ensures that data flows smoothly from source to destination, making it accessible for other analysts.

As our new BI Analyst/Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Data Collection and Processing: Gather data from various sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets), clean and validate it to ensure accuracy, and prepare it for analysis.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize statistical methods, algorithms, and analytical techniques to analyze data sets. Identify significant trends, patterns, and relationships.
  • Data Visualization: Create detailed and interactive visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or custom dashboards to present findings clearly.
  • Reporting: Develop comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Design and Build Data Pipelines: Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, , Operations, and Finance to understand their data needs and provide relevant analyses.

You'll have:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
  • Experience with Cloud Services: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Data Visualization: Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and the ability to create compelling visual narratives.
  • Data Modelling: Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data warehousing solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
