The role has responsibility for the day-to-day liaison between the MLB and the port /terminal operators. Ensures reliable and cost-effective port stays by working closely with Customers, terminal operators, and internal functions to proactively optimize performance and terminal operations.
Key responsibilities:

Ensures optimal berthing line-up for incoming ML vessels

Coordinates with the terminal and Ocean fulfillment Operator the timely dispatch of vessels alongside.

Conducts postmortem reviews of vessel calls to assess and address areas of improvement.

Participates in the Network Change process by discussing and securing berthing windows for all ports within scope.

Owns the Integrator strategy in the terminal complex.

Work with Area Product and Customer experience teams to improve end to end experience in Terminal complex.

Deal with relevant Authorities to obtain operational and commercial improvements and to optimize our operations.

Identifies and suggest continuous improvement possibilities in the ways of working.

Establishes and maintains excellent relationships with relevant stakeholders in ports (contact point), and use these connections to coordinate improvements in terminal processes for MLB.

Close relationship with procurement for terminal contract review and SLA on aligning performance metrics, the value of contract and making sure terminal is delivering as per contract agreed.

Deviation to Vessel Game Plan - follow up and communication to relevant stakeholders (internal / external) on deviations

Take actions to reduce Marine Costs, while enhancing Port Productivity and Schedule Reliability
We are looking for:

2-5 years relevant experience in container shipping.

Proven stakeholder management skills and political acumen.
