OBJECTIVES

  • Grow the indoor sports surface sales in the Benelux region (PVC, PU, rubber, wood, and linoleum for sports halls)
  • Specify, bid and win sports surface tenders (new built and renovation of sports amenities)
  • Creating business and developing the turnover in his territory (with distributors, flooring contractors, specifiers)
  • Promoting the products to the local architects, schools district and public institutions
  • Maintain an existing base of outdoor sports clients (artificial grass mainly)

MISSIONS

  • Primary point of contact for certain client accounts within the BENELUX
  • Produce and submit yearly sales strategies for the region
  • Regular coordination with installation partners
  • Meet, discuss and negotiate contracts with clients and consultants, often including company presentations, specification reviews and post-tender clarification
  • Continually liaise with and manage a portfolio of potential clients and consultants for sports surfaces, with a primary focus on indoor sports
  • Assess and support the installation of products on site (Ideally 3 visits per project – start, during and on completion of works)
  • Regular sales follow-ups in the Benelux including site visits to existing clients to assess the performance of the products
  • Regular Benelux travel (150 -180 days per annum)
  • Reporting hierarchically to Benelux Regional Director and functionally to Indoor Business Development Manager Benelux and DACH

PROFILE

Bachelor education (“HBO denk en werk niveau”)

Minimum 5 years, and ideally 10, of experience in Sport infrastructure and/or equipment sales

Passion for service

Successful track record in sales / business development

Strong rigor in planning, follow-up

Ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing and operations

Affinity for collective sports indoor (basketball, handball, volleyball) and outdoor (football, hocky, rugby)

Dutch and english is a must, French is a plus
