What You'll Bring:
- Five or more years of experience with leave administration, including short- and long-term disability, various state leave regulations, and at-work accommodation (ADA) management.
- Five or more years of experience with administering health and welfare plans (e.g., medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, life/AD&D, and retirement) and ensuring compliance with state and federal benefit laws.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience using VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other functions to analyze large datasets.
- Experience in ACA compliance, including 1095 reporting and annual ACA audits.
- Knowledge of Form 5500 reporting and providing data for external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
We’d love to see:
- Experience with Workday benefits administration.
- Expertise in leave of absence administration, including processing payroll reports and managing enrollment for employees on leave.
- Experience educating managers and associates on leave types, leave processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with non-discrimination testing and reporting for health and welfare and retirement plans and Flexible Spending Accounts.
Impact You'll Make:
- Administer and manage the leave of absence and accommodation program in partnership with external absence management vendors, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Analyze and process leave-related reports for payroll and benefits enrollment, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
- Educate and guide managers and associates on leave policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits for benefit plans, including annual ACA audits and 401(k) audits.
- Collaborate with HRIS teams to ensure accurate benefits administration.
- Provide Form 5500 data to external brokers and support annual reporting requirements.
- Address complex benefit inquiries, including resolving deduction issues, claim disputes, and vendor coordination.
- Manage relationships with outsourced vendors for COBRA, 401(k), and other health and welfare plans.
- Process life events and maintain weekly benefit updates in Workday.
- Assist with annual benefits enrollment and provide support for special benefits projects.
- Provide backup support to the benefits team and contribute to TransUnion’s wellness initiatives.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $72,300.00 - $105,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.
Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
