Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Bell Attendant to join our team at our luxurious hotel in Kalutara, Sri Lanka. As a Bell Attendant, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring their stay begins and ends on a positive note.
- Greet guests with a warm smile and professional demeanor upon arrival and departure
- Assist guests with their luggage, ensuring proper handling and timely delivery to rooms
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lobby area
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Offer personalized recommendations for local dining, shopping, and entertainment
- Assist with parking and transportation arrangements when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Genuine passion for hospitality and customer service
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Physical ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs)
- Knowledge of the local area and popular attractions in Kalutara, Sri Lanka
- Basic computer skills for managing guest requests and using hotel management systems
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
