Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice Summary: Our team is nationally recognized with attorneys in multiple offices around the country including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, New Jersey and Salt Lake City. The New York team has a dynamic and continually growing practice focused on restructurings in and out of court, distressed M&A, distressed financing, and related litigation.
Job Requirements: Applicants should have 2-4 years of general restructuring and bankruptcy experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with out of court restructurings, debt exchange transactions, appearing in court and drafting pleadings, and drafting transactional documents for M&A and finance transactions. Candidates can expect to work on restructuring matters across many market sectors throughout the country, and cross-border restructurings involving two or more countries at a time. The expected pay range for this position is:
Chicago: $225,000- $300,000 per year
Minneapolis: $205,000- $260,000 per year
New Jersey: $195,000-$235,000 per year
New York: $235,000- $310,000 per year
Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials in locations where market pay differs from the national average. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program. Additional voluntary programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long term care, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
