OVERVIEW:
We're currently looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Innovation team on working brand-new products in Sportradar’s portfolio.
In the Innovation team we launch, develop, validate, and lead new product ideas using cutting-edge technologies in areas such as computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, data science, and beyond. One of the products is QuickBets - the microbetting application that processes data collected by our Computer Vision system and generates odds.
We are a team with approximately 10 members spread across different locations. Our team consists of Software Engineers (2 backend engineers), Data Scientists, a QA Specialist, and a Product Owner. We are looking for a Backend Engineer to increase the speed of delivery of new functionality and improve the quality of the product.
We currently use the following technologies:
- Python (Fastapi), - RabbitMQ/Kafka, - PostgreSQL, - Docker, - AWS, - GitlabCI
THE CHALLENGE:
- Developing the product (for example, implementing new types of bets, new sports, and types of games).
- Launching new integrations for clients.
- Improving the code base.
- Cooperation with external teams in terms of integrations with different systems.
- Participation in creating architecture of new services.
YOUR PROFILE:
- 3+ years of experience in backend development using Python and asynchronous frameworks.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in object-oriented design, multithreading, and asynchronous programming.
- Familiarity with information security and DevOps practices.
