Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer with strong experience in Python, particularly using Django and Celery, to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient server-side applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AWS services, a good understanding of asynchronous task processing, and enjoys solving challenging backend problems.

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and Django

· Implement background task processing with Celery and Redis/RabbitMQ

· Build scalable and resilient systems deployed on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, etc.)

· Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps to ship high-quality features

· Write clean, well-documented, and testable code

· Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues

· Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices

· Participate in code reviews and help mentor junior developers

Qualifications

· 4+ years of backend development experience using Python

· Strong proficiency with Django and Django REST Framework

· Solid experience with Celery for background task management

· Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)

· Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS

· Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools

· Good understanding of software engineering best practices (unit testing, version control, architecture)

Preffered:

· Experience with FastAPI or Flask

· Knowledge of message queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka

· Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)

· Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

· Experience with microservices architecture

· Understanding of serverless architecture (AWS Lambda)
