In this newly established position, you will have the chance to play a pivotal role in the success of our high-performing Site Leadership Team and collaborate closely with our Managing Director & CEO, Annika Petersen.

You will join Syntese, a part of the Ferring Pharmaceuticals global matrix, and work at our manufacturing site in Hvidovre. We are renowned worldwide for our reliable production of high-quality Mesalazine, an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) used in treating inflammatory bowel diseases.

We are a relatively small site with 150 colleagues collaborating closely across functions, and you can look forward to a dynamic role that blends operational coordination, process optimization, and team support.

Your day at Syntese
Your main objective will be to support the Site Leadership Team by managing cross-functional initiatives, optimizing workflows, and facilitating progress in our business processes. At its core, your job will be to make it easier for the leadership team to achieve their strategic goals while driving daily operations.

The leadership team consists of 8-9 talented colleagues working operationally and strategically. Until now, we have taken turns managing processes ad hoc, but coordination will fall under your area of responsibility moving forward.

Acting as our CEO's right hand, you will:

  • Oversee and streamline back-office processes to ensure the efficient functioning of the site

  • Support cross-functional projects by tracking progress, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables are met

  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the back-office and site operations

  • Act as a central point for coordination, fostering collaboration across the leadership team and site functions

  • Support the planning and execution of key site events, workshops, and team-building initiatives

We are always looking for ways to work smarter, which could mean automating some of our processes to free up time and ensure a smoother flow of information. Therefore, another task might involve collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to support decision-making and performance monitoring.

Secondly, you value structure and have a keen eye for finding ways to improve processes. You are equally comfortable working with more abstract strategies and concrete initiatives. Being naturally persistent with exceptional attention to detail, you are known for your thorough preparation and follow-through.  

We imagine that you have the following:  

  • 2+ years of experience – perhaps as a management consultant or in a similar role

  • Experience with process optimization and facilitation

  • An aptitude for engaging with stakeholders at all levels

  • A relevant bachelor's degree
