A Day in Your Life at MKS:

The Team Lead AD/Entra/Exchange Online (Enterprise Operations) is responsible for leading and maturing the Enterprise Engineering capability within our critical lines of business at MKS Instruments (MKS). These lines of business include our Materials Solutions Division (MSD), Vacuum Services Division (VSD), and our Photonics Solutions Division (PSD). Ensuring the development of Operations framework while leading both direct and matrixed engineers to deliver and execute on day-to-day Business Operations in support of Incident, Change and Problem Management.

Accountable for business results primarily achieved through the work of others. Manages staff, sets standards and direction, and deploys resources. Has responsibility for employee development, performance reviews, pay reviews, and staffing decisions. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes, or programs. Works collaboratively with the Global Management team to achieve team synergy and achieve both team and company goals.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• This is an Operations Role maintaining a comprehensive enterprise framework, standards, governance principles, and adherence to strategic guidance on technology maintenance and lifecycle management.
• Strong Operational leadership is required in the areas of Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, in compliance with ITIL methodology and governance.
• Responsibility in hiring and mentoring the operational technology members for On-Prem AD, Entra, Exchange Online, Exchange, M365 in an hybrid environment.
• Experience in managing technology teams supporting On-Prem AD, Entra, Exchange Online, Exchange, M365 and related services e.g. Entra AD Connect
• Leading engineers through guidance, coaching, and support to ensure tickets/assignments are completed in accordance with established guidelines, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Understands the overall organizational vision and translates it into team goals aligned with departmental and organizational goals.
• Should have knowledge of Maintenance and Patching implementation and execution.
• Should have awareness of monitoring platforms.
• Highly proficient at ITIL process implementation and handling.
• Oversees the planning, implementation, and measurement of IT systems and ensures a balance between growing the agility required to achieve business objectives and ensuring core IT functions are reliable, stable, secure and efficient.
• Partners effectively with Portfolio Management, Product Management, IT Security, Supply Chain, Legal, and the broader IT community.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders on the implementation of technological capabilities.
• Collaborates on the development of IT policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring they are up to date and in line with area of responsibility and industry standards. Ensures compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborates with management on the design of an organizational structure and operating model to meet business objectives. Leads the organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transition with minimal disruption.
• Responsible for recruitment, development, retention, performance management, and succession planning that will lead to a strong talent pipeline.

Skills You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other computer-related degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years Operations IT experience required.
• 8.5+ Years experience Technical Leadership, Team Building and Team Management Familiarity with on-prem infrastructure technologies and solutions distributed globally.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and emerging technologies such as generative AI and its applications is a benefit.
• Knowledge of electronics manufacturing, including industry related standards and regulations is a benefit.
