It is a very exciting time of growth at Quisitive, and we are currently hiring an Associate Consultant to Consultant-level Azure Operations Specialist to join our team.  

This role can be located anywhere in the United States, but we would prefer the Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Chicago, Phoenix or Tampa metro areas.

What will this role entail?

We are seeking a skilled Azure Operations Specialist to optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security and operational efficiency for Quisitive clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in Azure cloud services, automation, monitoring and incident management to support both mid- and enterprise-level client cloud operations as part of the greater Quisitive Azure Operations team.

Key Responsibilities may include:

• Monitoring & Incident Response: Implement and manage Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights for proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Azure Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize Azure cloud environments, including Virtual Machines (VMs), Storage Accounts, Networking and Security configurations.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates or Terraform to streamline cloud operations.
• Collaboration & Advisory: Work closely with DevOps, security and application teams to improve cloud performance and governance.
• Incident & Change Management: Participate in incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA) and change management processes using ITSM tool.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously review and enhance Azure workloads to improve efficiency, scalability and reliability.
• Artifact & Tools Creation: Create, edit and audit Managed Services documentation and customer runbooks; assist in development of tools, workflows, and practices for Managed Services team.
• Operations: Contribute to Managed Services operational growth projects and initiatives.

What’s the minimum experience required for this role?

• 1-2 years of experience in IT operations with at least 1 year focused on Azure cloud services.
• Experience in Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, Security Center and Automation.
• Familiarity with scripting with PowerShell, Python or Terraform.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (VNets, NSGs, VPNs, ExpressRoute) and identity management (Azure AD, RBAC, MFA).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.

 What else would set me apart?

• Previous consulting experience in a customer-facing role.
• Previous experience with a Microsoft systems integrator.
• Experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104 (Azure Administrator), AZ-400 (DevOps), or AZ-305 (Solution Architect).
• Ability to work flexible hours due to client requirements for patching and troubleshooting, and possibility of being part of an on-call schedule as needed.
