We are looking for an enthusiastic Azure Cloud Architect to join our global architecture team who will be mainly focusing on Azure working with business users, IT colleagues, leaderships and vendors to deliver initiatives, projects and digital transformation tasks, the candidate should have broad technical skills with industry knowledge and business acumen who is also keen to pursuit new technologies and innovations providing continuous improvements to business.
Job Description
What We Need
- 3-4 years of working experience in Azure Cloud Solution Architect role
- Having technical experience in infrastructure design including, private, public and hybrid cloud, IaaS services, Identity, networking, security, storage, container and governance.
- Familiar with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure SQL, Azure monitor and App Insights)
- Knowledge of or an interest in one or more of the following: Azure PowerShell, CLI, Visual Studio, Python or Terraform
- Proved hands-on experience on these Azure services mentioned above
- Able to Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaption process.
- Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.
- Develop and organize cloud systems.
- Experience managing complex cloud environments and identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, including reading, writing and speaking
- A passion for learning about and experimenting with new technologies
- Organization and planning skills
What is Nice to Have
- Azure Solution Architect Expert certification (AZ-303 and AZ-304)
- Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification (AZ-400)
- Experience on Cost Optimization in Azure
- Experience with ITILv3 framework processes and activities
- Experience on DevOps and software development, e.g. CDCI, Pipelines, repos in Azure DevOps
- Can manage small projects driving things moving forward.
