What you need to be successful in the role

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Clean driving record
  • Maximum three demerit points (preferred)
  • Zero convictions or out-of-service events on CVOR abstract (preferred)
  • Criminal record search (no offences under Criminal Code of Canada)
  • Valid Class AZ or Class 1 driver’s licence
  • Must be Cross border capable 
  • Professional attitude and desire to be part of an award-winning team

Minimum 2 years of verifiable flatbed experience, including:

  • Load securement using chains, binders, and straps
  • Experience with tarping various types of loads
  • Understanding of weight distribution and axle regulations
  • Hauling steel, lumber, machinery, or other standard flatbed freight
  • Knowledge of oversized load requirements (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Minimum age requirement for truck ownership: 7 years (trucks older than 7 years will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis)

An Owner Operator designated to the Flatbed Division must have the following minimum equipment:

  • Bulkhead on Tractor (Headache Rack)
  • 10 Transport-Grade 3/8 Chains with Hooks
  • 10 Screw Binders
  • 20 – 3” Straps + Binders
  • Tarps with End Flaps & 3 Rows of Tie Downs
  • Miscellaneous "Softeners" and Load Protection
  • Oversized Load Signs & Flags
  • 2 Revolving or Strobe Lights for O.D. Loads (Preferred, not required)
  • Protective Equipment as Required
  • Additional Tarps for Incidental Tarping

  • Service across all 48 states, Western Canada, Ontario & Quebec
  • Freight moves wherever our customers need
  • Dispatch is based on priority – considering driver availability, customer needs & load requirements
  • Expect a minimum commitment of 5–14 full days or more for optimal miles
