* We're specifically looking for a Smart City Program Manager who is either based in the United States with the ability to work without visa sponsorship and is open to relocating to Saudi Arabia, or someone who is already based in Saudi Arabia and comfortable working on-site in Dammam.
A relocation package will be offered to candidates relocating from the U.S. for this role.
We're looking for professionals with strong program management experience, especially in large-scale initiatives related to smart city technology, infrastructure, and innovation. The current role duration could be anywhere between two to three years.*
As an AWS Smart City Program Manager Consultant for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:
- Leading end-to-end execution of complex Smart City programs across infrastructure, energy, transportation, and safety
- Coordinating stakeholders including local governments, vendors, service providers, and internal product and engineering teams
- Overseeing the deployment of IoT-enabled systems such as intelligent lighting, smart mobility, surveillance, energy management, and digital twin platforms
- Developing program governance models, KPIs, and reporting structures to track delivery, performance, and impact
- Ensuring compliance with smart city standards (e.g., ISO 37120/37122), sustainability targets, and data security protocols
- Managing budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations to ensure cost-effective program execution
- Driving data-informed decision making through real-time analytics, performance insights, and optimization strategies
- Ensuring project milestones are achieved on schedule and within budget, while navigating a complex regulatory and stakeholder landscape

You have:
- 15+ years of experience in program or project management, including 5+ years managing urban or smart city–related initiatives
- Proven track record of delivering multi-stakeholder, technology-enabled infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of Smart City technologies, including IoT, AI/ML, cloud solutions, public safety systems, and digital twin platforms
- Experience collaborating with city agencies, government partners, and private-sector technology vendors
- Familiarity with regulatory and sustainability frameworks including ISO 37120/37122, urban safety standards, and cybersecurity best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in project and resource management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence)
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, urban planning, smart infrastructure, or related field
You might also have:
- PMP, Smart Cities Professional Certification, or other relevant project management credentials
- Background in digital transformation, enterprise system integration, or data governance
- Hands-on experience working with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with urban analytics tools, data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and real-time performance tracking

The compensation for this position is tailored to reflect your unique skill set, relevant experience, and the current dynamics of the job market. We strive to ensure that our compensation package is competitive and fair, taking into account various factors to provide a rewarding opportunity for our team members.
The annual salary range for this role is: 170,000 - 220,000 in addition to our comprehensive benefits package. A relocation package will be offered to candidates relocating from the U.S. for this role.
